| We are proud to employ four skilled licensed veterinary technicians. These valuable team members have been trained in American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited degree programs and have passed a credentialing exam. The Michigan Department of Community Health requires applicants to pass both the Professional Examination Service (PES) National Exam and the Michigan Practical Exam prior to licensure. Our technicians assist both clients and doctors by taking blood samples, running laboratory tests, monitoring anesthetized patients, performing dental prophylaxis, taking and developing x-rays, restraining animals, and answering client questions. Our technicians also see appointments for suture removal, expressing anal sacs, trimming nails, and administering subcutaneous fluid therapy. |
